can you believe this is still up?

so many things have changed since i’ve been on this site. i’ve worked, i’ve played, i’ve traveled, i’ve gained, i have lost, and i have grown. it’s interesting how time can ultimately change someone and the people who surround you. 

so many of us take time for granted, just like the air we breath it comes and goes; just like the people we meet, we share moments that are forgotten and memories that are cherished forever. 

i have met so many beautiful people since i’ve last been on this site. from olivia who saved my life in new york city, to jocelyn who showed me the world and space, and to leah whose love and acceptance for me shows no limits. these memories i’ve built with so many people are the sole reason on why i am alive. 

i love you all.

i live in portland, oregon now and this place is magic to me. the people are kind and the air is easy. this city has showed me so much potential in myself and others. i live with three of my best friends; rj, dan, and noah. 4 neurotic reject jazz musicians living in one household, all of us sharing the same dream and goals. we laugh and play, cackling over idiotic jokes that make no sense to anybody else. we are one living organism together. working together to make everything work.

i am happy with life and it will continue to get better. 

I’ve been thinking about this a lot, but when I deploy I hope I get struck by an I.E.D.
